Bursary Applications

Dear Candidate

Thank you for showing interest in the academic bursary programme offered at Ivy Academy. We are committed to providing the highest possible quality in private education, and value your application to be considered for a bursary for the 2014 academic year.

The Ivy Academy Board will evaluate all bursary applications, and will not enter into any negotiations regarding the awarding of bursaries.

It is important for you to note that bursaries awarded to successful candidates will be offered on tuition fees only; Ivy Academy bursaries include text books, but exclude any additional fees travel costs, accommodation fees, additional books, or study related purchases etc.  The bursary is valid for the period of academic study only, as per the nature and value of the bursary.

The bursary will not be redeemable for cash; and, a bursary may not be transferred from the allocated academic year or programme without written consent from the Principal.

The bursary awarded to a successful candidate may be rescinded if a candidate fails to attend classes, doesn’t complete prescribed assessments as per the academic rules, or contravenes rules and regulations regarding student conduct as per the Student Handbook and Registration Contract.

Your application should be attached to a certified copy of your latest copy of results pertaining to the current academic year. Please ensure that your application is delivered to attention Kathy Martin, 247 Louis Botha Avenue, Orange Grove no later than the 6 December 2013.


Please note: to qualify to receive a bursary, you have to attend a final interview process.
